One of Lancaster’s hidden gems is The Music Room, located on Sun Street. Built in about 1730, this special building was originally a garden pavilion. Its exceptional Baroque interior took hours of work to repair and Outreach Opera were lucky enough to be invited to sing for their open weekend as part of the Heritage Open Days.
Outreach Opera entertained a warm and welcoming audience, which was made up of visitors to the Music Room. Thanks to those who stayed and listened and also for the lovely tea and cake that was provided.
