Jordan Harding-Pointon: Baritone

A baritone studying at the Royal Northern College Zoe Music under Matthew Best, Jordan’s stage roles include Herald in Vaughan Williams’ The Pilgrim’s Progress (RNCM). Silvio (Pagliacci)l, Dr Falke, (Die Fledermaus) Baron Zeta (The Merry Widow) and The Prisoner in Louis Ashton Butler’s The Ephemeral Legend., as well as Townsperson in Buxton Festival Opera’s recent production of The Orphans of Koombu. In concert, Jordan’s repertoire includes Rossini’s Petite Messe Sollenelle, Haydn’s Missa in Angustils and Missa in tempore belli, Mozart’s Vesperare solennes, Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem and Scarlatti’s Stabat Mater. His affinity for interpreting English language song has led to concert performances of Butterworth’s Six Songs from A Shropshire Lad and Copland’s Old American Songs; amongst a diverse repertoire that spans English and Italian art song, Lieder and the great American songbook

John Wood: Tenor

John originally trained in Musical Theatre at The University of Chichester, but later began to study opera at the London College of Music under renowned British Baritone William Robert Allenby. He recently performed the roles of Edmondo & the Dancing Master in Puccinis Manon Lescaut at Opera Holland Park. Other roles include Arturo (Lucia Di Lammermoor), IL Conte Di Lerma (Don Carlo) at Fulham Opera, The Queen of Hearts (Alice’s Adventure’s in Wonderland) OHP. The Dancing Master (Das Spitzentuch Der Konigin) Straus II long lost operetta which enjoyed a residency at Wilton’s Music Hall.

John made his Royal Albert Hall debut in 2018 with BBC radio 3’s Opera and the Silver & the Silver Screen, hosted by Petroc Trelawny. John is also a Solo cabaret cruise ship headliner for PIHA International Entertainment. Future engagements include Ajax & Achillies in Le Belle Helene for New Sussex opera and future cruises with P&O.
